Disability Support Worker
The Disability Support Worker (DSW) is responsible for providing support to maximise the living, employment, social and recreational skills of people with a disability. Community inclusion, independence, empowerment, decision-making and personal choice, and control should be promoted through these supports, with a focus on individual needs.
Cleaners
The goal of cleaning staff is to keep the premises of Abundant Life Disability Support Services and its Participants in a clean and orderly condition. The Cleaner carries out the cleaning and maintenance of the Office areas of Abundant Life Disability Support as well as homes of Participants. They need to display behaviour that is professional, polite, and give attention to detail. They should be prepared and responsive; willing to meet each challenge directly. The Cleaner must be comfortable with general cleaning tasks, flexible to the requirements of the various venues requiring cleaning and have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others.
